BACKGROUND
Producer and resseler fireplace products and accessories. The client already had a store on the Oxid platform and another platform created especially for him. Both platforms did not allow for further development. In addition, the client wanted to implement new products for sale - individual products that will be made based on the dimensions given by customers.

DATA MIGRATION
After research, analysis and comparison of various solutions, the Magento platform was chosen - as it gives development opportunities, a large community creating extensions and giving great opportunities for expansion.
In the next stage I coordinated the data migration from Oxidshop to Magento. Then the graphic design was implemented and the addition of new products began.
CONTENT CREATION
PROBLEM
Many of products was as ‘individual products’ with individual dimensions etc. In addition, these were large-size products, such as fireplace doors or fireplace glass, for which building a scenography for taking photographs would entail high costs for the client. How to improve the process of preparing photos / graphics of such products to be placed in the online store? How to sell such products so that the customer knows how to send the appropriate dimensions and how to automate this process to relieve customer service?
SOLUTION
The solution was 3D graphics. Most of the product photos were prepared as three-dimensional graphics. This allowed to reduce costs and significantly speed up the entire content production process.
In order to streamline the sales process and relieve the hotline, an appropriate product category structure has been built, which leads the customer step by step to the appropriate product. Simple markings were used, technical illustrative and detailed drawings were made, as well as the possibility of adding your own drawing to the order.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Automatic calculation of the price of a non-standard product, based on the dimensions provided by the customer and selected options. Fields can be defined as fields which will be used for automatic valuation of the product. This allows you to streamline the product ordering process without the need for an administrator. The button automatically changes from "Ask for price" to "Add to cart" with specific parameters (e.g.: product dimensions, weight, thickness, etc.).
Possibility to order a customized product with individual dimensions. In the administration panel administrator can define any fields that allow to prepare an offer. There is also possible to define minimum and maximum dimensions for each product to minimize amount of inquiries for products that are impossible to manufacture or send.
The possibility to place Bundle products, where the customer can choose the color, size, etc. and in the system still remains a standard product with an individual product number. This allows to control the inventory of individual products.
Possibilities to attach technical drawings or assembly instructions to individual products. Customers can download files and get acquainted with detailed dimensions, installation methods, etc.
